SongSong #1 02:18

about

AUG - Tried to develop a group of pieces with an emphasis on a linear or fluid connection between them, to not get bogged down or side tracked by difficult or captivating songs.

Pocket Bass Drum/Sugar – There really is nothing like a bass drum and we should all have one. Oh and sugar too.

Augur – Didn't see this one coming..

Augurs Dance – First August recording, an I-Phone improvisation treated like a king.

Space Suite – When in space...
I. Moonverb - the sound, it seems to bounce around.
ii. Molecules. Note to self.
iii. Understood. Violin. Violence.Volition.
iv. Catch. There's always one.

IT'S OK - ...say it enough times and maybe it will be.

Swing Ain't Right – Music to watch golf by.

Aestas – Sub Latinate puerility

Cycling Too – Featuring the voice of Dan Richards reading from his book The Beechwood Airship Interviews in an excerpt about allowing time to reflect on the creative process and differentiating it from procrastination.

Baby On The Stool – A phrase by phrase improvisation.

Finis – A two part, one take improvisation, made plausible through Audacity mangle

SongSong #1 – A mindless ditty, almost took me over til I noticed that it was nothing to do with me.

about

ezifreak England, UK

Ezifreak is the moniker used by Monkiboy for developing One Month Albums, experiments and projects. It is also now, somewhat confusingly, a live act duo that places some of these ludicrous sketches on the stage. Disco beats, dirty bass, diatribe and brouhaha to the fore. ... more
